ROCHESTER HALLOWEEN FUN DAY The alumni association hosted a new event on Oct. 31, 2015, for Rochesterarea alumni at Cascade Meadow. This facility is a new environmental center that was gifted to Saint Mary’s last year. The event had free food, arts and crafts for kids, live reptiles from the Biology Department, fun chemistry experiments, tours of the facility, and a costume contest. Big Red greeted an excited Halloween costume participant.
EVENTS ARIZONA ALUMNI AND FRIENDS GATHERING On Nov. 13, 2015, Paul Meyer ’64, a university trustee and his wife, Carole Meyer, hosted a Saint Mary’s alumni event at the Phoenix Country Club. Catherine McDonald ’11 connected with Brother William at the event.
CHICAGO ALUMNI CHRISTMAS GATHERING On Dec. 12, 2015, the alumni association hosted a special Christmas gathering for Chicago-area alumni and friends at the Oak Brook Drake Hotel. Matt Marron ’83 and Henry Jakobsze ’83, president of Saint Mary’s Alumni Board, reconnected for this holiday event.
TWIN CITIES ALUMNI CHRISTMAS GATHERING The annual Twin Cities Christmas Gathering occurred on Dec. 4, 2015, at the Saint Mary’s University Center on the Twin Cities Campus. Attendees, including Michael and Sara (Sloneker) Seal ’06, M’07, enjoyed great food, wonderful conversation and remarks from Brother William.
WINONA ALUMNI HOLIDAY GATHERING Alumni of the Winona area gathered on Jan. 8, 2016, to celebrate the new year. The alumni association hosted its annual Winona Holiday event in the main lobby and lounge of the Hillside residence hall.
