Friday, 18 August Flight & overnight Check in at 1845hrs at Malta International Airport for the direct flight to Copenhagen with Norwegian Air departing at 2045hrs. Upon arrival in Copenhagen at approximately 2355 hrs you shall be transferred to your hotel for overnight. Saturday, 19 August Copenhagen & embarkation After breakfast and room check-out, join the tour guide for the transfer to Copenhagen cruise terminal for ship check-in on board the Serenade of the Seas. After check-in and cabin assignment, you may then begin exploring the many facilities this wonderful ship has to offer. Ship will set sail at 1700hrs. Sunday, 20 August Cruising Relaxing day at sea. This gives you the opportunity to relax and make use of the varied facilities on board. Join the aerobics class with qualified instructors or simply relax by the pool. The ship’s animators will be organizing varied activities by the pool deck

and other lounges (kindly consult your ship’s daily program for timings). Monday, 21 August Stavanger, Norway Following a hearty breakfast, we highly recommend you to join our optional excursion. You head to the port where a private boat will be waiting to take you on a three hour journey around the Stavanger archipelago. As you enter the splendid Lysefjord, you will see one of the most spectacular sights in Norway - Prekestolen or the Preacher’s Pulpit, which stands 460 meters above sea level. As you return to Stavanger you will be amazed by the spectacular natural wonders and scenery. Tuesday, 22 August Bergen, Norway Your next port of call shall be Bergen, the second largest city of Norway. Today’s optional day excursion gives you the opportunity to discover the ‘City between the Seven Mountains’. You start a walking tour by visiting the famous Floibanen Funicular up Mount Floyen (included). This is one of Bergen’s major attractions. It was opened in
1918 with an altitude of around 300 meters, giving a magnificent bird’s view of the Port area and Bergen city. You continue the tour passing the Port area and the surrounding buildings. After stopping at the world famous Fish market, join the tour leader for a walk to Bryggen, the old Hanseatic merchant’s quarter, with its characteristic wooden houses. The ship shall depart from the port at 1800hrs. Wednesday, 23 August Alesund, Norway Today’s port of call shall be Alesund, one of Norway’s most picturesque and charming fishing ports. Today’s tour takes you to the Saga Islands of Giske and Godoy, connected to Alesund and the mainland by bridges and one of the longest sub-sea tunnel connections in the world. Visit the Roman marble church, Giske Chapel, dating back to 1135. It was once the influent Giske family chapel. To give you an insight into the multitude of life beneath the waves, you will visit the Atlantic Sea Park (incl entrance), one of the largest aquariums in Northern Europe and the largest in Scandinavia. On the return back to the ship you will visit the Mount Aksla view point.
