He advocates using visualization exercises when you aren’t on the range. Visualizing in detail seeing, swinging to, and shooting targets. He believes you can do this drill all the way through to shooting 200 targets as an exercise. He mentions the Quiet Eye technique to allow your vision to guide your mental
preparation and letting your subconscious take over and break the target. Avoid negative self-talk and keep the positive attitude of a champion. Let lost targets go and move on to the next target. Don’t get lost in the self-talk that a mistake can generate. Accept the loss and move 13 on.
