-TOURNAMENT RULESRULES6. To prevent unnecessary delays, please be on your proper starting trap ready to shoot. Your squad cannot wait and must start without you! Shooters missing more than their first sub-event may be resquadded by shoot management and charged a $10.00 resquad/makeup fee! Shooters may make up one sub-event on the practice trap. You cannot re-squad yourself by joining another squad on the line that has an open position. 7. Ties in all Preliminary Events will carry over to the next like event(s), except HANDICAP, which will be decided by shoot off! Each shooter will be called for shoot off three (3) times and if they do not report, they will forfeit the trophy and added money! The high score in each class during preliminary singles and doubles events will be moved up to the next higher class starting with Event 4. 8. At all tournaments where All-American points will be awarded in any event, shooters may declare only one category. Note: Chairshooters are exempt from this rule. Any shooter who is tied for event Champion may shoot-off/carry-over for the Championship trophy. If a shooter fails in the Championship trophy shoot-off/carry-over and has declared a special category at the time of classification the shooter can fall back to the declared category. Any shooter who has declared a special category at the time of classification and whose score qualifies for any trophy in his/her declared category, will compete for the category trophy and not for place, class or yardage group. Any special category shooter, whose score does not qualify for a trophy in his/her category, may compete for place, class or yardage group trophies. Once any declarations have been made either by shooter or shoot management, the declaration is final and can not be changed. There shall be no exceptions to this rule. All Ladies, Sub Juniors, Juniors, Junior Gold, all Veterans must declare their special category at classification in any registered tournament if they wish to compete as a category shooter. Without such declaration, the contestant will not be allowed to compete for the applicable category trophy for the duration of the tournament. No contestant will be allowed to declare or change a special declaration after his/her first shot. There will be no exceptions to this rule. 9. Non Resident trophies are for NON RESIDENT SHOOTERS ONLY. Open Trophies are for any ATA shooter. Resident Trophies are for FLORIDA residents only. All F.T.A. Added Money Is Guaranteed and will be awarded with the trophy and title! Please collect your trophy and have your photograph taken for the records. The F.T.A.
will not ship or mail your trophies! 10. In addition to the entry fee, all shooters must pay the daily A.T.A. ($3.00) and the F.T.A. ($2.00) fees. A Florida Hall of Fame Fee ($.50) will be collected from all shooters when they enter the Florida State Handicap Championships. Only U.S. currency will be accepted! Entry fees cannot be refunded unless an event is canceled by Tournament Officials and/or the Host Club’s Shoot Management! Entries will be closed when the last squad takes the line. 11. Options and purses are not compulsory and may be played at the time of entry only! Changes or cancellations will not be allowed after your entry has been paid. Pay off sheets will be posted for all events by the Host Club’s computer operators, who cannot be responsible for errors in your scores after the pay off sheets are posted. Please check
your scores after each event!
