Song and Dance Festival: the economic crisis brought together record numbers of participants and viewers Estonian Song and Dance Festivals have justly earned their place among UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage. This summer the festival proved that, regardless of the economic crisis, the 140-year-old tradition could attract more people than ever before, not least because of the opportunities offered by 21st century information technology.
