Acoustic value

Chameleon Acoustics Optimal is a 25 mm thick PET felt panel that provides very high performance sound absorption especially in the frequency range of voice sounds. From 1000 Hz, an absorption value of 0.9 can be achieved (when mounted directly onto the wall). Chameleon Acoustics Optimal therefore significantly contributes to pleasant acoustics in open plan offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, auditoriums, classrooms etc.

Ecological footprint:

Chameleon Acoustics Optimal consists of 100% recyclable PET felt, of which 30% is made from recycled materials. The material has a small ecological footprint because it is produced locally.

Mounting options:

• Gluing to the wall (High Tack kit advised)

• Magnetic mounting with Chameleon mounting system

Finishing options:

• V-cut: a V-shaped groove that can be applied according to a design (see image)

• Through-cut: Cutouts that make holes in the product in any shape

• Bevel-cut: The edges of the panel are cut at an angle to provide an elegant finish.

Maintenance:

Brush with a soft brush or duster. Wet cleaning is not recommended.

Standard designs

Choose from 8 V-cut designs

Cutting out a V-groove in the material creates a depth effect in the wall. This V-groove can be applied according to various designs. On the right you see 8 basic designs specially designed for Optimal that we can adapt to the dimensions of your wall. In addition, you can of course submit a design yourself or ask us to develop a specific idea.

Colours

Chameleon can apply any PMS, RAL or other colour system to the felt surface. With lighter colours, the felt structure in the surface will remain visible, while with darker colours, it will become less visible. Because of this, the most suitable colour can be chosen for any interior. In order to choose the right colour and see the effect of the felt surface, we would like to invite you to the Chameleon Showroom in Geldrop or Roermond. We will send you a sample of each selected colour allowing you to make the best choice. (Chameleon Acoustics Optimal is partly made from recycled materials. Slight colour differences may occur between different batches)

Full colour print

An acoustic wall with full colour (photo) print. Using sublimation technology, images are printed on Chameleon Acoustics Optimal with razor-sharp quality. The colour white is displayed as transparent. This means that the basic colour of the felt, including the felt structure, becomes the most visible.

Acoustics + whiteboard

A fusion of functionalities in one product. Chameleon offers the possibility of integrating an enamel whiteboard into the Acoustics Optimal wall. Both the whiteboard and the felt surface can be cut to any shape to blend smoothly into each other without gaps or depth differences.
