Then everyone wakes up And hopes for a good day But we all know Some days are just hard Especially some this past year

Maybe you are struggling with your mental health Struggling to pay your rent Struggling to get food on your plate Or maybe you just do not want to get out of bed These feelings are valid Everyone feels this at some point

But, we are here today to celebrate a good day To celebrate what is to come A new president and vice president A new vaccine for Covid-19 A new year full of opportunities

There is hope There are better days to come There are brighter days to come
