As a new year starts and we start to transition We see politicians competing for the position.
There are two sides, greatly divided Each striding to hide the lies that each had provided. We shall see how this new administration handles America, It may lead to much despair… Things may need to be repaired.
Many funds may be spent, Most may not be meant. Proven after 40 years to make no progress America seems to be on a road to digress.
We should really be more united, Instead, hatred is ignited. We wonder where this path will lead Because the nation has not agreed.
How is it justified to burn down buildings and break down statues? It clearly does not show good virtues.
We shall hope for America that this does not continue, And that we can all contribute To the repairing of this nation. While we live in isolation.
I hope this is a good change for our country But this change can’t come abruptly. After these four years Hopefully the fog clears.
What will it take? What changes will we have to make? We will have to face the winds of change, Like a bird trying to fly a far range.
It might be difficult, like trogging through the snow It might be difficult to overcome the differences in the country

It might be difficult to get along. But it is necessary to thrive, If this country is going to survive.
