A place where you’re supposed to meet new people Make new friends Talk in the hallways Listen to your teachers Do homework

But instead we are at home We get up and log onto our computers We sit patiently while we wait Wondering when this class will end How much longer

We repeat the process over and over again We sit patiently Waiting for school to end

Then school is over We take a break We eat We breathe And prepare ourselves for homework

Homework takes hours Hours of stress Hours of hardship Hours of rummaging through our notes trying to find an answer to our question

We take breaks throughout the night Then we go back and continue working We finish late at night at finally turning in our assignments before the clock strikes 12 And start all over again the next day
