We all live in fear, we live in America. We get up and get ready for the day. We go to work, in fear, We go to school, in fear, And out we go, into the world, in fear. Everywhere we go, we go in fear.
Why do people have fear and live in fear? Isn’t America supposed to be the dream land?
On the news we see people get killed for no reason. We see people get called racial slurs, We see people get criticized because of their sexuality, And all of that just because of the color of their skin, their religion, or who they love.
Isn’t America supposed to be the place that people dream of living in? And isn’t a dream place supposed to be a safe and a good environment? Then why do all of us consistently live in fear?
