The world is still. The sun rises to greet the clouds. The clouds wrap their loving arms around the sun as if to welcome it.
All around us people move. The world is still yet bursting with movement. As we greet the day, some earlier than others.
We all walk side by side. Down the busy sidewalks. People standing anxiously waiting for something.
However separate we gather as one. We gather to soak in the knowledge of another. The people who speak of hope and a new day.
From the ground our ancestors built the world we are chained to. The world we live in. They worked for us to work harder.
The dirt which we rub off our shoes others have planted seeds in. These seeds are the small but mighty ones of this world. The seeds of workers and dreamers.
We gather together yet apart. We listen as one and as many. The thoughts in which we hear fill our own ears.
As we listen closely we hear the words of others. We gather as one yet we are so different. We learn to live and work in this world as one.
We listen for our future. Our family, our children. We listen for the years to come.
We are the citizens, the people, the voices. We gather together to make a decision to choose a leader. The one to walk fearlessly as a leader.
