We Care and Give Back!

Among our core principles, “We Care and Give Back” stands as one of Smart City’s most important. It represents our commitment to service, and a belief that extends beyond words to tangible actions. It’s not enough to just care, but rather, we believe in taking meaningful steps to give back, especially when we are in such a fortunate position to do so.

That is why we push our local teams throughout our partnered convention centers to get out in their communities and make a difference. Though, “push” is a strong word. Rather, we encourage them to find ways to give back to their communities, and all of them jump at the opportunity to serve. We have an incredible team of compassionate, dedicated individuals who enjoy helping others. They wouldn’t be working for Smart City if they didn’t. Their passion for lending a helping hand has made our 2023 Month of Service an absolute success, and you can see Smart City’s influence across the country. From the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle to the Salvation Army in Orlando, from food banks in Honolulu to shoe sorting in Charlotte, to all the wonderful volunteer opportunities we found near our corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, all Smart City team members demonstrated how much they truly care while giving back. In this latest Pinnacle issue, you will see examples of “We Care and Give Back” in action, and I thank all our centers for leading the charge during our annual Month of Service!

But that’s not all the end of the year brings. As we say farewell to 2023 and set our sights to 2024, I’m struck by all we have accomplished this quarter. Within this latest Pinnacle issue, you’ll see our most recent accomplishments, from our presence at IAEE’s Expo! Expo!, to celebrating remarkable individuals like Tammy Clark (a finalist in Nevada’s 2023 Hospitality Heroes), to the implementation of cutting-edge network upgrades at a few of our partnered convention centers. Throughout it all, we remain committed to providing top-notch technological solutions for some of the most diverse events in the nation, ranging from Metallica Concerts to Art Basel. As I said, it has been an amazing year for Smart City.
