I dedicate this to Lilianna Wilde, who first told me my words mattered. To Fanny Henriksson, Isabela Spector Antunes and Carola Jessica De Lucia, who taught me that I matter. To my grandmother, who has always been my pillar of strength. To my best friend Johanna, who has been my partner in life longer than I remember. And to little Emma, for she has come further than she ever thought was possible . I wrote most of this thanks to my friend, Lilianna, who first told me my words mattered. I was encouraged and this book came together pretty quickly, between 2017 and 2018. It is a deeply personal journey I’m about to take you on, but it’s not all my story to tell. The story that is being told is what you feel when you read the words and what you relate them to. Words are, and have always been, incredibly powerful to me. They can draw out memories and emotions, feelings and flashbacks and thoughts and provocative mindsets. Maybe my words aren’t that powerful to you, it is still to be seen, but they are that powerful for me to share. I am very excited. Thank you for reading. I hope you’ll like it.

This is a story about heartbreak and love , about darkness amongst the light and about pain reaching you from tip to toe. It’s about all the gray in life, all the gray in the sky and all the gray in between . It makes all the sense in the world and no sense at all. Here is the journey of my mind , my past , my present and whatever next shall come.
