Arts THE HISTORIC ROBERT WHYTE HOUSE Starting in 2003, The Arts District started offering workshops in a variety of mediums to children, teens and adults at The Robert Whyte House.

THE HISTORIC TIN SHOP Starting in 2006, the historic Tin Shop was the first guest artist facility. The Tin Shop is the result of a partnership with the Saddle Rock Society and the Town. Artists are invited to stay at the Tin Shop and work on their medium of choice from one week up to one month. THE RIVERWALK PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

THE QUANDARY ANTIQUES CABIN/CERAMIC STUDIO The cabin, donated in 2008 by Jim and Maureen Nicholls and relocated from its original location two blocks down Ridge Street, has been remodeled into a small ceramic studio. The ceramic studio offers open studio hours where the public can work on projects of their own and workshops taught by experienced ceramic artists.

The Riverwalk Center is the western most anchor of the Breckenridge Arts District. Recently remodeled in 2007/2008, the Riverwalk Center serves as an integral part of the growing Arts District. The venue, primarily used in the summer, hosts a multitude of events including the Town Party, comedy events, film festivals, concerts and weddings.

THE LAKE DILLON THEATRE COMPANY THE BACKSTAGE THEATRE COMPANY Now celebrating their 40th season and recently named the 2010 Outstanding Regional Theatre by the Colorado Theatre Guild, The Backstage Theatre has gone through many phases. In 2001, the Arts District of Breckenridge purchased the Shamus O’Toole’s Saloon and partnered with the theatre to renovate the building into a small theatre which opened in 2002. In their 2013-2014 season, the theatre will see a major renovation that will increase seating, update the lobby and add multiple other areas. Throughout all of the updates, The Backstage Theatre continues to produce the highest caliber shows while remaining an all-inclusive group, welcoming every skill level to their stage.

THE HISTORIC FUQUA LIVERY STABLE The facility provides wonderful space for ongoing workshops in diverse mediums including metalsmithing, painting, printmaking and textiles. In addition, Studio 3 within Fuqua, is leased to local artists on an annual basis.

The Lake Dillon Theatre Company brings Summit County 222 days of cultural programing and reaches over 49,000 patrons annually. The organization was founded 20 years ago to bring artistic programing and educational opportunities to the entire Summit County community. Some of their most popular programs are the Sunset at the Summit FREE family concerts produced on Saturday nights at the Lake Dillon Amphitheatre throughout the summer, the annual National Repertory Orchestra July 4th Outdoor Concert and the signature year-round season of plays and musicals. Including these events, the educational offerings, intimate cabaret performances and special events, the Lake Dillon Theatre Company produces 51 diverse offerings each year, 21 of which are free or cost less than $5.00.
