Lots will be auctioned on sale day at 1pm. No animals will go through a sale ring but the sale will be screen interfaced. All weather marquee will be available on sale day for the auction.
LUNCH
Provided on sale day.
REBATES
A 5% rebate will available to outside agents. Outside agents must register prior to the sale day.
SAFETY
Common sense please. Sale day can stress these otherwise very quiet animals. Please be aware at all times of your position relative to others in the pen and do not overcrowd the pens. If you do not want to enter the pens please ask the staff to move the bulls to you. No children in the pens. Animal welfare is our priority.
GENETIC TESTING
All lots have been genetic tested for the relevant breed society conditions.
BREEDPLAN
All bulls have full Breedplan EBV’s and all bulls have had genomics testing to enhance the EBV accuracy. The breed average is on the bottom of each page for reference. Please see the relevant information about Breedplan on the HAL or Angus websites.
SOUNDNESS & HEALTH
All lots will be vet checked by Chris Hallet (Coolah Vet Hospital) prior to sale. All bulls will be semen tested prior to sale(morphology tested). All lots vaccinated and drenched as appropriate. Bulls have been fed on pasture or crop with access to DDG due to the season. The past 3 months bulls have been on crop or pasture only.
JD BIOSECURITY
Mullamuddy is J-BAS 6 status. Cattle will be held for any interstat tests free of charge. Should cattle react the sale will be cancelled.

WELCOME TO THE 2024 VPC
Rainfall and cattle markets have been frustrating, essentially a processor’s field day, however the perfect storm may be on the horizon. Record prices for cattle in the USA can only mean our market has to go up strongly.
We are thrilled with the 2 drafts of bulls for our 4th sale. The Angus draft shows consistent line of proper beef bulls, with quality Millah Murrah blood, it has been a privilege to breed such good bulls.
Roger and Jan Hann (Courallie Herefords) help us catalogue the bulls each year to give an impartial and experienced view. With such a consistent line, we decided to catalogue the bulls under the 4 sires represented therefore giving clients the opportunity to buy lines of same sire bulls: MMPowerpoint Q193, MM Paratrooper P15, MM Quixote and MM Rembrandt R48.
The Poll Hereford draft is a culmination of many years of breeding for high calving ease and high carcase merit. Our investment in Injemira Robert Redford Q287 has proven a sound one, as seen in the line of 20 Redford bulls in the sale. We have debunked any myth that low birth bulls do not perform. These bulls are very thick, muscular and big hipped. The bonus is the beautiful skin and hair type along with colour and pigment. Serious curve bending Breedplan gives real confidence to these bulls.
The Churchill Broadway bulls are a feature. Our son Tom has just visited Churchill Cattle Co in Montana, USA and was impressed with their high-quality females and future sires. We have Churchill Red Thunder bulls for next year and have just used Churchill Sherman in our herd.
VPC BULL SALE
We have used 2 of the Hereford bulls in the sale within the stud.
VP Redford T029 was used over Broadway heifers and VP Broadway T066 was used over Redford heifers and over cows. T066’s overall volume, coupled with his super structure, outcross genetics and presence as a stud sire means we will plan use him well into the future.

Injemira Robert Redford Q287
Redford has been a game-changer for all those who have used him. Certainly, one of the most consistent bulls we have used. The lines of heifers we have produced are simply outstanding, and his data set for a near 5-year-old bull is outstanding, while the progeny match their numbers. We have never pulled a Redford calf , and the calves demonstrate thick and rapid growth, especially from 12 months onward.
The bulls in the sale are heavy topped and deep bodied, but it is their beautiful hair and softness that will impress. There are several stud sire prospects in addition to lines of outstanding commercial bulls. All the “Redford” bulls have heifer credentials.

We chose to use Broadway sire to capture the outstanding Churchill cow programme and the proven York bull. Broadway has a super data package with high calving ease and high growth. High IMF is a bonus. His heifer calves are dark, soft and of high quality. The bulls in the sale are well structured, long, muscular and cosmetically correct. The son T066 is a real stand out sire.
Nick is a full brother to Super Sire Wirruna Matty. He was added to our team due to his big frame and high growth traits. He is a trait leader now for 200, 400 and 600 day, in addition to scrotal size and gestation length. His real bonus is his exceptional industry leading IMF. He also has perfect cosmetics and structure. His daughters are exceptional.

We purchased Powerpoint as a yearling and he has bred outstanding progeny. Powerpoint is thick, athletic, perfect structure and easy calving. His bulls are the same. His heifer progeny are at the forefront of our programme.
Paratrooper needs nothing said about him except that he has bred very consistently for us. His daughters are at the forefront of our future and weaned very heavy calves this year. The bulls in the sale are very even and coupled with the R48 bulls make a super bunch.

We saw Rembrandt and decided to use him in our ET programme. A good decision as the bulls are outstanding, just as he is. I like his depth and thickness. A real beef bull. We had good success with Paratrooper and R48 allowed the impressive N60 cow into our herd. His data set is very handy as well.
Q96 impressed me at the MM sale and the calves do the same. You will appreciate the bulls on offer. Q96 has worked well for us and has great data to back up our decision to use him. Tom also visited Spickler Ranch, North Dakota last month and was again very impressed with the operation, the cattle and importantly the people.
