Jessica Brustad, the Funny Yogi, is a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader who focuses on comedy during sessions to bring joy and play back to adults With a background of improv, Brustad enjoys making others laugh, leading her to this path. Her website describes it as “recess for grown-ups ” Brustad has led teams from Google and Microsoft through laughter yoga sessions During these sessions she helps them relearn how to be playful Rach Cox, the Laughing Yogini, pinpoints laughter as an “official meditation technique” Like Walker, Cox sees laughter as a way to release negative emotions in a healthy way Laughter transforms what would be an angry outburst into something positive that can be shared with others, and it releases endorphins making you feel good Cox shares laughter with others during her Spiritual Stand-Up Comedy
