Mecha Swain is the founder and CEO of Mecha Media, LLC, as well as the inventor of SlapStik Comedy Entertainment. SlapStik began in 2005, when Mecha discovered her passion for writing while pursuing a degree in journalism and obtaining a position as a staff reporter for her student newspaper. Mecha's pals recommended her to launch her own magazine after many of her stories made the front page of the paper. Mecha was studying in Communications at the time, with the goal of becoming a broadcaster She was well aware that she desired to create something unique, something not existing on the market This is how SlapStik Comedy began As a single mother of two sons, Mecha made the decision to forge her own path for herself and her family She identifies herself as a simple girl who is looking for nothing more than truth and a hearty laugh
