Chairman of the board: In the past few years Rebaz foundation style has taken a different path, and various ways of work, implementing multi methods of strategy works of organization, manifested itself in the actuality and circumstances of Kurdistan Region daily life, in a way that had accommodated on political, social, economical, institutional, and market changes. Every year with more persistence and more developed community service elements, we step in to the nongovernmental organizational work arena, for this Rebaz foundation has kept current and contemporary organization. In the year 2013 Rebaz Foundation has practiced quality changes in providing the community with service projects, in a way the 37 project implemented in 2013 were in so many different aspects of charitable work, covering so many different places and communities. This year saw the opening of Rebaz Foundation Erbil city branch, and started work immediately, furthermore in the organizational relation and connections, Rebaz Foundation was able to establish more than few partnerships with some local and international organizations abroad, exchanging knowledge and extending service projects. PAR Hospital as an essential partner, participated with substantial financial support, and cooperation, this collaboration with Rebaz Foundation, resulted in a providing help and health care to so many needy patients and low-income citizens at the hospital. When it came to the Syrian Refugees issue, the ones resettled in the refugee camps around Sulaymaniyah and Erbil provinces, Rebaz foundation faced a historical question, how to concentrate and emphasize on the best possible ways and methods to serve our western Kurdistan refugees, and provide them with their needs, and for this purpose we established continuous presence and ongoing distribution of goods and services at all these camps. Rebaz Foundation was granted a formal registration with the Directorate of Nongovernmental Organization at the Kurdistan Regional Government, and was able to benefit from the grant program; these funds were used to implement important and big projects at Sulaymaniyah, Chamchamal, and Halabja city. In the end I wish more success to the organization, and congratulate all the board members and our staff for a job well done.

General Coordinator From the concept of organizational affairs and administrational practical day to day work in a vivid and ordinary way, Rebaz Foundation went through some changes as of April 1 / 2013 , the main office in Sulaymaniyah gained four new staff members , and they are Mr. Tarik Shapasand ( Fundraiser ), zhian Ezzat ( Project officer), Rozhan Hars as (Administration & Finance officer), and Mis. Sarah Ahmad (Media and Public relation officer), meanwhile our office in Erbil was established and started their work at an office annexed to PAR hospital, with Mrs. Lava Farooq as a Director and Miss. Kanyaw Chato as Project officer, the Erbil office started their activities since the first of August/2013. The last year 2013, we accomplished 37 successful projects, including workshops, English teaching classes, providing assistance to the neediest, printing and distributing many leaflets and booklets about health awareness, Human rights, and other social issues, our activities included sponsoring Sport leagues and providing sport equipment and accessories for the youth, fulfilling needed necessities to Syrian Refugees all different kinds in various ways at refugee camps, and also sponsoring financially collage students at Jehan University enrolling in a variety of academic majors What is worth mentioning here is, in the year 2013 more than 40 patients at PAR hospital got lever implantation operation at the expanses of Rebaz Foundation. On the other hand in the year 2013 we were able to benefit from a grant provided by Nongovernmental Organization directorate at Kurdistan Regional Government, these funds were used to implement an educational and training course project on (Women development and justice in the light of United nation security council resolution 1325), beside all these activities we have undertaken steps to branch out farther to other townships and provinces like Soran and Khaliefan to extend needed projects there. The year 2013 also brought upon us a move, our main office at Salim Street in Sulaymaniyah city was relocated to a new building at Bakhtiary-Taza Street. We have broadened our links and connections in 2013 with more local and international organizations, our staff members have attended 18 conferences, workshops, and training courses in 2013, and they were visibly active participant in these civil activities. Rebaz foundation is stepping in to its seventh year of serving the community, with high hopes for more achievements, and new work strategy to do more. And finally I would like to congratulate the president, board members, and every one of our staff and volunteers at Rebaz Foundation, wishing you all more success and accomplishments.

Workshops, seminars, and conferences, Rebaz Foundation staff members participated in during the year 2013: 1- Meeting with the head of World Volunteers Health Organization {A&K} on April 28/ 2013 at Rebaz foundation office in Sulaymaniyah city. 2-Participation in the workshop (illegal migrations and the negative consequences of their return and acclimation) By CDO, took a place on may 16 /2013 and lasted for one day. 3-We took an active role in the evaluation conference of the Proposed (The Compact on Partnership and Development between Public Authorities and Non-Governmental Organizations in Iraq), sponsored by UNOPS, one day Workshop on June 30 / 2013 at Sulaymaniyah city. 4-particpation in the conference by UNHCR and Ministry of Health at Kurdistan Regional Government on the (Welfare and Health situation of Syrian Refugees in the Kurdistan region) started on September 3 / 2013 and lasted for three days in the city of Erbil. 5-Our staff member took a part in a course on (Children Rights and Elimination of Violence against Children) by UNISF-Erbil on September 7 / 2013 and lasted for 3 days. 6- Partake in the 6 day course by YAO (Training of Trainers) especially designed for (How can youth gains income) took a place at Sulaymaniyah in September 2013. 7-Particpiation in a 3 day awareness course about (implication and the principles of Declaration of Human rights) on the issues of women rights, civil society organization, and journalism.By UNAMI, in the city of Erbil, started on 29/10/2013. 8-In October 2013, we took a part in a workshop EITI (International initiative Definition) for clarity on developed nations of natural resources industrial income, in Sulaymaniyah. 9-A members of Rebaz Foundation participated in the conference (Youth and community confidence) that was hold in Sarchnar-Sulaymaniyah for one day by Future Organization. 10-Partake in the (Training of Trainers) course by UNICEF for 3 days on the mechanism and how to fill up reports about (violation of children rights), November 21 / 2013, in Erbil city. 11-During the campaign and events hold in the week of (Stop Violence against Women) our staff members at Rebaz Foundation-Erbil office were actively involved in a conference emphasizing on implantation and revising the legislations concerning women rights. Feminist groups, women right
activist and organizations, plus members of parliament, ministers, and experts were participant at this conference, this three day events was sponsored by the (High commission of Ladies Affairs) in the city of Erbil, on November 27 / 2013. 12-We were part of the workshop (Training law enforcement and police on Children rights and Child protection laws) on December 1/2013 by UNICEF in Sulaymaniyah province. 13- Participation in the one day conference organized by KEDO on (Transparency and accountability) most of NGOs, Public employees, media, political parties and members of Kurdistan parliament were presence at this event on December 3 / 2013. 14-(The Day of Volunteers),a seminar was lectured on contribution and promotion of Voluntary work in the city of Erbil By a US organization UNV, on that day December 5 / 2013, our staff members in Erbil office were active participant in that event. 15-Actively taking a part in the meetings were hold at the Erbil office of Kvinna till Kvinna ( The Swedish organization) these discussions titled {Participation in the International Training Program) on Women Rights and United Nations Security Council resolution 1325, this even was on December 5 / 2013 and lasted two days. 16-Our voice were heard in the conference outlining the issue of (Human Trafficking in the Kurdistan region) and we were part of the coalition suggested legislations and stricter laws to eliminate this criminal practice in the parliament of Kurdistan to out root this behavior ones and for all, the event was sponsored by RASAN organization and directorate of nongovernmental organizations in KRG, on December 13/ 2013 in Erbil city. 17-Rebaz foundation participated with a Booth at the (2013 Nongovernmental Organization Exhibition) in the city of Sulaymaniyah on December 15 / 2013, the Exhibition was sponsored by DHRD, and it was for one day only. 18-One of our staff member participated in the course (Legal awareness in the media work) took a place in Sulaymaniyah city on December 15 / 2013, by the Media Dialogue organization, this course was a 2 day event.
