Over forty organisations have achieved the award, by carrying out actions such as organising lunchtime walks, providing changing and drying facilities for staff to raising awareness of walking, wheeling and cycling routes around their workplace.
Workplace walking online training course
Our online workplace walking training course equips learners with the knowledge, skills and ideas to encourage their colleagues to move more. Free to take part in, the course is packed with helpful advice, hints and tips to help learners set up a walking project within their workplace.

As more workplaces and individuals are thinking about sustainability, cost-saving, health, and wellbeing, it’s a great time to promote riding a bike.

How does it work?
Getting involved with the 23 Million Mile Challenge is easy:
• Staff can take part in the challenge and join your workplace profile
• Help us reach the 23 Million Mile goal by Aug 13th. All journeys count, it’s about having fun and encouraging others to discover the joys of riding a bike

• Once someone has been for a ride, they log it on their profile, or the Love to Ride app will do it automatically (iOS app currently available and Android coming soon)
• There are amazing prizes up for grabs to anyone that takes part, regardless of their riding experience!
The Now We Ride 23 Million Mile Challenge is a joint partnership between Love to Ride and the UCI 2023 Cycling World Champs team. Let’s work together to help more people discover the joys and benefits of bikes as we build up to the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships (3 - 13 August).
