and then came to Charleston in ’96. Peter unknowingly followed her south in the next decade when he arrived fresh from a 25-year career on radio and TV. But fate had the final hand when Peter’s father ended up being a patient of Lea’s; “surely destiny” says Peter. Between successful careers—Lea is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Peter is CEO and co-owner of the Instinctive Tennis Academy at Family Circle Tennis Center—the two decided to find an abode in Mount Pleasant and recently refinanced.
