RTC is an event where Key Clubs across our region come together to learn more about the different opportunities this organization has to offer like strengthening your leadership skills and learning how to run for officer positions! The day started with a spirit session, which was a showcase of all the various divisions’ spirit cheers. It was very fun seeing and hearing all the different cheers! There was also a guest speaker, and just like that, it was already lunchtime. After lunch, divisions split off into their own groups and moved forward with their DCM. DCM went really well and SKC ended up getting 2nd shining club of the month! We all went to the gym after that to continue with the opening session. All the LTGs did a really good job hyping us all up and getting us excited for the variety of workshops they had to offer. Most of the workshops I went to were focused on the responsibilities different officer positions have and how to run for those positions. I met a lot of new people and had a really fun time throughout all of the workshops. RTC ended with a heartfelt closing session. Overall, RTC was an enjoyable experience. Meeting new people and learning so much more about what Key Club has to offer made me excited for the rest of this term and the many more that will come!
