With my Culinary and Catering Management course mates

It was not so long ago in 2018 when I was a slightly depressed and lost student who had just finished my first year at Singapore Polytechnic (SP). With a GPA of 2.7, I knew I would not be able to get into a local university. I was angry with myself for being complacent and not having tried hard enough. I believe it was the Lord who prompted my parents to nudge me

to think about transferring to the Culinary and Catering Management course in Temasek Polytechnic (TP). Personally, I thought it was a crazy idea. I had already invested a year into the course and did not want to start over. I had friends, leadership appointments, and even the specialisation in entrepreneurship that I wanted for my second year at SP. Change scared me. There were so many uncertainties: What if I didn’t
