The SVITZER Group, a leading towage and marineservices provider, currently operates more than 450 vessels in 32 countries worldwide and has more than 4000 employees. Since 1833 the SVITZER Group has been providing safety and support at sea. At present the activities of the Group are:

In the provision of towage services to ports and terminals SVITZER is the market leader. Over 450 SVITZER vessels provide safety and marine support at more than 120 ports and 27 oil and gas terminals worldwide. The tug fleet comprises a strategic mix of Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD), Voith Schneider (VSP) and conventional tugs, ranging in Bollard Pull from 35 tonnes to over 100 tonnes.

Currently we operate 32 tugs in Scandinavia and Germany, serving more than 32 ports in the region. Services include towage, ship-to-ship operation, rig moves, anchor handling, icebreaking and other marine services.
A fully equipped salvage warehouse form the foundation for our response services. Our in-house tug training simulator secures good training and generates highest safety & quality in all our operations.
