WISTA is an international networking organization whose mission is to attract and support women, at the management level, in the maritime, trading and logistics sectors.

Formed in 1974, the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) is a global organization connecting female executives and decision makers around the world. WISTA serves as a connector for its network of more than 3,800 female professionals from all sectors of the maritime industry. WISTA’s vision is to promote diversity in the maritime, trading and logistics sectors, empowering women to lead through their unique perspective and competencies, with the conviction that gender diversity is key in providing a sustainable future for the shipping industry internationally.

WISTA Sweden was founded in 1987 and has approximately 100 members throughout the shipping and logistics industry in Sweden. We arrange national and regional meetings on a regular basis to network, exchange experience and learn something new.
