Brief 2 Topshop AW 11 Collection

Brief To design the identity, packaging and promotion for the the Topshop AW 11 collections. - New Mod - Bavaria - Glam Rockette - Prim & Polished Target Audience Topshop customers, stylish, fashion concious 14-35 yr old women. Concept Each of the identities were created based on the look of each collection, paying attention to colours, materials and cut of the garments. I have proposed the identity for all of the collections and designed full ranges for Bavaria and New Mod.

Brief 2 Topshop AW 11 Collection

New Mod ‘Sleek tailoring, geometric patterns, grandad knits and brotherl creepers have been given a punk fuelled twist.’ I created a typeface based on the description of the New Mod collection, geometric shapes, clean cut tailoring and Mod-esque features. Bavaria ‘Opulent yet homespun, this collection has a dressedup, yet laidback all at once with a handcrafted feel.’ For Bavaria the typeface I based the illustrative type on was Baskerville, I re-designed the font with stitches to represent the embroidered nature of the clothing.

Developing the New Mod collection identity over packaging, bags and labels aswell as a lookbook. I chose Bright White card as this reflected the clean cut look of the collection and also the colour palette of white, red, blue and black.

Developing the Bavaria collection identity over packaging, bags and labels aswell as a lookbook. I chose brown sugar paper as this reflected the the warm, wintery tones and added depth and quality to the collection and also reflected the colour palette of warm neutral pastels.
