Shakespeare Schools Festival A group of Form 6 pupils took part in the national Shakespeare Schools Festival for the sixth year running, performing The Tempest at Anglia Ruskin’s Mumford Theatre. Pupils involved had the opportunity to prepare and present their own approach to Shakespeare’s theatre as well as to watch and learn from productions offered by other schools.
“It was like we all went on a journey together from the first rehearsal to the final, polished performance. It was real team effort and that’s what drama is all about.” “I learnt the importance of working in an ensemble and the focus that is required to perform a part that is constantly changing.”
