Celebrating 61 Years San Jose Christian School A love for God. A desire to learn. A commitment to serve.

SJCS Mission

The mission of San Jose Christian School is to advance the kingdom of God by providing exceptional teaching and curriculum fully integrated with Biblical perspective. Within our committed Christian community, we live to engage and transform the culture for Jesus Christ.

Greetings Friends and Families of SJCS, Thank you for being a part of our 18th Annual Spring Auction. The theme of our 20-21 school year is "Made to Thrive.” In our daily school life, our students learn that Jesus tells us to, "take heart! I have overcome the world." In the midst of a pandemic filled year, our community and our students have thrived. We are grateful to have on-campus learning and we are determined to thrive into the future. The SJCS Annual Spring Auction is a great way to ensure a vibrant future for our students and the SJCS mission. In order for us to continue doing the good work we are doing here; we need your help. Each year our auction raises support for items like technology improvements, classroom upgrades, playground equipment, and campus updates. These are items that our normal operating budget doesn’t cover. Even though last year proved difficult, we are amazed how God moved in our community to send us much needed donations. We are looking forward to seeing God move in the hearts of our community again through our 18th Annual Spring Auction | Determined to Thrive. What stands out most about our theme is that God has given a determination and strength to thrive in spite of our circumstances. In the Bible it is written: The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, they thrive in the courts of our God. Psalm 92:12-13 When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan. Proverbs 29:2 We pray that your family is finding time to thrive in God’s kingdom. We are so very grateful for your support and look forward to the future with a bright optimism that God will provide. Your brother in Christ, Lemuel “Buddy” Hucks Head of School
