The ceramics class has a great time creating original pieces of art. We have molded pieces available to choose from that you can paint or glaze and have fired in the kiln. Our volunteers would be happy to help you find just the right piece to begin! Fee's vary depending on piece.

R A C H E L L E S I L C O X

Rachelle Silcox was born and raised in Utah, and has lived here all of her life She's lived in Midvale, Riverton, Copperton, West Jordan, and now resides with her mother in South Jordan.

She has had several occupations including, owning her own house cleaning business and acting as the Senior Director of the Salt Lake office of WorldCom. While there, she particularly enjoyed working on Profit and Loss, contract negotiation and training employees on technical issues with the telecom equipment. During her time with WorldCom, she especially enjoyed traveling across the country.

She has been married for 42 years and has two sons. She loves to spend time with her three bright and charming grandsons.

Her favorite hobbies include; reading, gardening and flower arranging.

She loves volunteering at the center and meeting new and wonderful people.
