FITNESS & AQUATICS

This has got to be one of the busiest summers that I can remember! Between the lack of rain making the pool an ideal summer hang out spot and over 100 swimmers on our swim team, the pool has been the place to be. San Jose pride always seems to peak during the summer months, and it seems to me that we have truly set a new standard this summer.
Speaking of our swim team, the Pool Cats have had another outstanding year. We participated in seven (7) meets competing against other local country clubs and associations. The Pool Cats once again ended the year undefeated! During July, we will compete in our final meet of the season, the River City Championship, hoping to defend our title and bring home the gold for the second year in a row! As always, we will be hosting our Swim Team Bingo night on Thursday, July 7 at 6:30pm in the Ballroom. Remember, this is a free event to all Pool Cat Families. Our Annual End of Season Banquet will be held on Not only has the pool been busy, but our personal training and group fitness classes are seeing some of the highest participation in years. Whether you are swimming, using our personal trainers or participating in a group fitness class, we offer many other services to help keep you healthy. We offer massages, kinesio taping, TPI training, assisted stretching and much more! Our fitness staff includes two level 3 TPI trainers, two level 3 Pilates reformer instructors, a registered dietician, multiple master’s degrees in exercise science/nutrition, and one staff member halfway through a doctorate in physical therapy. If you are considering partaking in any of the above-mentioned services, want to talk to knowledgeable individuals or anything pertaining to health and wellness, consider reaching out to us before exploring other opportunities. We are available and happy to help!
