M O M S, DAU G H T E R S E N J OY A N N UA L ST Y L E S H OW More than 1,000 students and mothers enjoyed the 2018 MotherDaughter Brunch & Style Show hosted by the St. Joseph’s Academy Mothers’ Club on March 18. The theme for this year’s event, held at Raising Cane’s River Center, was You Are My Sunshine.
SJA seniors, accompanied by their moms, modeled the latest spring fashions. Participating boutiques were Love, Eros, Head Over Heels, NK Boutique, Blue Spero, Aria, Edit, Chatta Box, H Kyle, Vertage Clothing, Hemline Towne Center and Hemline Highland.
Door prizes were provided by Kendra Scott, The Royal Standard, Soho Salon & Boutique, Zoës Kitchen, Dorm Décor, European Wax Center, Avant Tous and LaRonda Daigle-Mary Kay Consultant. In-kind sponsors were Raising Cane’s River Center, Premier Sound Services, The Original Heroman’s and Sherwood TV & Appliances - Rhonda Hebert Ruffino ’85 and Olivia Ruffino ’12. The planning committee was chaired by Jennifer Jones and co-chaired by Vanessa LaFleur. They were joined by committee members Marsha Bruce, Allison Sceroler, Angele Cooley, Jennifer Poe, Lisa West, Laurene Hutchinson, Tricia Hurdle, Monte Brown, Aimee Walker, Wendy LeBlanc and Katie Jeter Valenciano. SJA students attending the brunch received special cross charms, courtesy of Tina LaHaye, to commemorate the event.
