The mix of being constantly bombarded with media, people constructing their online identities while labelling them ‘real’ and the pressing desire to know who you are in life at a young age has had clear impacts on teenagers and young adults today. In the next page I will be talking to a young person who struggles with identity issues.

They discuss the want to express themselves whilst being afraid of judgement from others. It is said that formation of identity is one of the most important conflicts that young people face in today’s climate, a struggle that includes intensive analysis and exploration of different ways of looking at oneself.
