Any nurse will tell you that no two days on the job are alike. As a nurse, your actions may save a patient’s life one day. You could be working with a grieving family on the loss of their loved one the next day. No matter what the day is like, a nurse’s role is always a rewarding one. At SIUE, you will learn to not only provide quality patient care, but to lead the way in demonstrating excellent, quality patient care. As a nursing student at SIUE, you will learn in the classroom, in the simulated lab (where mistakes can be safely made on the mannequin patients) and in the actual clinical setting with real patients.

of all nursing schools nationally, the fully accredited SIUE School of Nursing will prepare you to be a smart, critically thinking practitioner.
