Freshman Admission Requirements Applications will be considered using the following factors: n Meet published deadline n High school course work n Grade point average n Class rank n SAT and/or ACT composite score Deadline for Freshman Admission (Fall Term Entry) Applicants can apply beginning June 1 prior to their senior year. Admission decisions will be made beginning September 15. Priority consideration for admission will be given to students whose applications and all supporting documents are postmarked by December 1. Applications and supporting documents postmarked after December 1 may be subject to additional review by the Admissions Review Committee. Applications and/or supporting documents postmarked after May 1 may not be considered for admission. Getting Started Checklist -- Freshmen � Take the ACT or SAT as early as possible and have scores sent to SlUE (ACT code is 1147; SAT code is 1759). � Visit campus for PREVIEW SIUE (siue.edu/preview) or schedule a visit and campus tour (siue.edu/visit). � Complete the application for admission and submit the $40 application fee online at siue.edu/apply. Priority filing date is December 1 for fall term. Final application deadline is May 1 for fall term.

� Send your academic transcripts to: SlUE Office of Admissions Campus Box 1047 Edwardsville, IL 62026-1047 Electronic transcripts may be submitted through various electronic transcript services and can also be sent to etranscripts@siue.edu directly from the institution. Transcripts received through this account from a student will not be considered official.

� Apply for admission by December 1 to ensure priority scholarship consideration. Fall entry only.

Springboard to Success (Fall Term Entry) Once admitted for fall, it’s mandatory that you attend the Springboard to Success registration program. Springboard invitations will be mailed within a few weeks of your admission to SIUE. Plan to sign up online for Springboard to Success and pay the nonrefundable registration/enrollment fee by May 1. The registration/enrollment fee ensures your spot and confirms your intent to enroll in the fall. Springboard registrations and/or fees received after May 1 will be accepted on a space-available basis.

� Apply for admission and complete the Supplemental Profile (siue.edu/meridian) by December 1 to be considered for our Meridian Scholars Program and Direct Entry programs. (minimum 1280 SAT ERW + M or 27 ACT). Fall entry only.

Other Acceptable Credit SIUE accepts Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and some CLEP credit toward a baccalaureate degree n
