How to Prevent Your Hair from Getting Tangled https://www.sishair.com/ Although we take good care of our long beautiful hair, knots and tangles are nearly unavoidable. What cause hair tangling? In general, there are many reasons.    

It is super thick and curly. It is long and fine. It is very dry and damaged. You don't brush your hair throughout the day.

Here are some tips to help you minimize tangling.

1. Condition your hair and hair extensions Conditioning hair restores moisture, leaving it smoother and less likely to tangle. It is recommended to condition your hair after washing with a deep conditioning mask every one or two weeks. Avoid applying the condition to roots.

2. Use a wide tooth comb It is recommended to use a wide tooth comb, for it not only can remove the tangles more efficiently but also prevent your hair from being torn and damaged. You can gently start at the bottom of the knot and work your way up until it is combed out completely.

3. Brush hair consistently Do not let your hair down all day (especially in the wind) without brushing it if your hair is prone to tangling. You had better gently brush hair 2-3 times a day with a soft bristle brush, especially before a shower and before sleeping.

4. Protect hair while sleeping As we know, hair can also get tangled while you sleep. Therefore, please protect your hair while sleeping.

5. Choose the right products Avoid any products that contain alcohol. Although it indeed can dry our hair, it makes hair more prone to tangling. It is recommended to choose natural, sulfate and alcohol free products, or those specifically designed for tangled hair.

6. Braids Experienced users know that even simple hair elastic can damage hair. Tying hair up in a ponytail all the time causes hair breakage and split ends. Therefore, it is recommended to style hair differently than a regular ponytail in the exact same spot every time. For instance, you can try those cordless coil hair ties or scrunchies to do your ponytails and buns. However, if your hair is long and tangles and you're not willing to cut it, you can braid your hair. After braiding hair, you can do whatever you want and the braid will normally stay.
