Voluminous Achieving voluminous hair actually begins with the right shampoo and conditioner. Select brands that condition “lightly”- volumizing or clarifying work best. Once you’ve cleaned and conditioned, apply volumizing products. Foam and styling sprays are usually lighter, therefore they are able to apply lift and body while still providing direction and control. For maximum lift, apply these products to your roots. Next, the roots need to be dried completely. Opt for a hair dryer that assists with volume without over-drying. After applying a volumizing spray, blow-dry hair using a round brush, pulling sections of hair upward from the roots and away from your scalp. Finish with a light hair spray.
