POW/MIA Ceremony

Veterans’ Memorial Park POW/MIA Recognition Day is held each year on the third Friday of September. The day is meant to pay special recognition to all those U.S. men and women who have been held as prisoners of war and especially those who remain unaccounted for. Join the Parade! We Can Help! Fourth of July Bike Decorating Heritage Park #170019

What better way to be involved with the Fourth of July celebrations then by having your very own decorated bike to ride in the parade! You bring the item, we will provide the decorations. No battery or motorpowered vehicles will be allowed. Then, if you would like to join us, we will meet on Tuesday, July 4 and march in the Mayor’s Fourth of July parade. We will even store your decorated item until the day of the event. Stick around after the parade for all the fun festivities at Falls Park. Registration required.
