DEGREE THESIS : URBAN PROJECT OBERHAFEN + PROJECT FOR A STUDENT HOUSE MARCH 2010 SITE EUROPE-GERMANY-HAMBURG PROJECT AREA 8.9 ha
The project was focused on the area of Oberhafen, a quarter on the border of HafenCity. The masterplan in force has planed for the area a commercial function with the total destruction of the preexisting buildings: the project savages the demolition and chooses to conserve a part of the preexisting buildings that contributes to shape the urban fabric. The project plans to built student houses hosting in the new construction buildings at levels 2,3 and 4, while at levels 0 and 1 there are hosted common services.
