"Summer is long days and ice cold drinks on the porch with friends. It's watching your children's faces light up when they run into the cool water at the local pool and hearing their little giggles when you splash water at them. It's family vacations, and sun-kissed shoulders, the smell of sunscreen lingering on skin at the end of the day. It's chasing fireflies and ice cream cones melting onto tiny fingers. It's fireworks and barbecues and cornhole. It's night markets down small town streets and a baseball game on the television. It's togetherness with your family, your friends, and your local community.

Fishing, kayaking, festivals, being outside more. Personally, being out in the sun means less psoriasis outbreaks and smoother skin which improves moral and life in general.

As a child with 8 siblings (6 brothers & 2 sisters), summer time was fun time! My dad was a tenant farmer and we had access to a pond that we swam in, horses & a mule that we got to ride, plenty of acreage to explore & lots of farm animals to enjoy.

We also worked hard as a family of 11, so summertime was also spent in gardening, mowing, etc, but we did it together and we had a lot of fun! I have an internal need to be outdoors because of how I was raised. I am SO GRATEFUL for summer!!
