Silver Sage Region, Porsche Club of America Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting October 6th 2015, Conducted at Porsche of Boise Members Present: President Chris Beeson, Vice President Paul Kaczmarek, Secretary John Sommerwerck, Treasurer Rob Grover, and Past President Marybeth Bathrick, Membership Chair Walt Gammill (absent), Derek Parker, Molly Cuddeford, Gary Cuddeford, Bob Pentecost, Vicki Pentecost, Walt Thode, Walter Von Brucker, Cynda Beeson, Carole Flatter, Hal McMillan and Dennis Terenzio. Special Guests: None President Beeson called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm.

CURRENT MATTERS: A. Upcoming Events: 1. Oktoberfast – Gary & Molly Cuddeford gave the update Derek Parker reviewed is parking map and noted he needed volunteers. Poker walk will feature 6 locations. Liam has the trophies and will present them at the event. B. Charity Committee Update – Molly gave the report Book it Forward Idaho (BiFI) will have a booth at Oktoberfast Auction will be on Friday, 11/6, at the Riverside. It will cost $40/person. Riverside has $99 room special. C. Report of the Nominating Committee – 2016 Officers No Update D. Tech Talk Event – Derek Parker gave the update. To be held on Saturday, March 5th He is arranging for Robert Mohan to fly in and give the presentation. It was suggested we might try to schedule a dinner for the ‘track rats’ the night before with Robert. E. Sage Tick – Chris Beeson Stu Davis has agreed to publish four issues in 2016 Issues to be published in: March, June, September, and December Walt Thode to be aggregator


ONGOING PROJECTS F. Web page – John noted he had contacted the PCA social media expert and obtained Facebook guidelines which he will be modifying to fit Silver Sage needs as soon as he has a working PC. G. 50th Anniversary Project – Vicki Pentecost gave the update. Date is now 24 Sep 2016. Linda P signed the contract Need a check in the amount of $1350 to Spur wing.

THANK YOU’s  Thank you to Dave Keim and Jim Parkinson for their continuing hard work with the Coffee and Cars event the first Saturday of each month and September event leaders Mike and Jan English. The October event led by Jim Parkinson was a big hit—very sporting! 

Thank you to Paul Kaczmarek for his help in making the off-road trip option for the Coffee and Cars September event a success.

Thank you to Vicki and Bob Pentecost for their hard work in organizing the 2nd Annual Porsche Wine Crush event.

The next BoD meeting will be held at Porsche of Boise on November 3rd. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.
