Announcing a new faculty member:

Teen Council

Alexander Giller - Guitar, Saxophone, Ensemble Classes B.A. (Candidate for M.A.) from Brooklyn College. Studied privately with Lars Frandsen, Noah Creshevsky and George Brunner. Music school training from early age on guitar, piano, saxophone and clarinet. Performed with various ensembles and groups in musical genres ranging from Classical music to Rock. Taught private music lessons in New York City area for 18 years to students of various ages and levels. Private guitar lessons at JCH of Bensonhurst for 3 years. For the last 3 years teaching music at the public school in Staten Island. Classes range from Pre-K through 8 Grade and include: General Music, Guitar, Chorus, General & Rock Band.

Teen Council is a leadership group for junior high teens (13-15 years) to plan, organize, create and discuss new and innovative ways to plan events, trips, activities, fundraisers and community service projects for the junior high teen community. Gary Negbaur- Diggin’ the Beatles: A Pianoman’s Journey through the Beatles Songbook Gary Negbaur returns with an evening of interpretations of the classic tunes of the most popular rock band of all time. The music mixes the familiar and the fresh, the nostalgic and the surprising. Fee: $15M/$18NM includes refreshments Tuesday, October 23, 7pm

Teens The Youth Board is a teen (15-18 years) leadership and community service group. Teens brainstorm, propose, discuss, plan, organize and run events, trips, activities, community service and fundraisers for the teen community.
