The new 1910 Restaurant and Lounge, nestled within the Spokane Club, is set to dazzle members with a remarkable dining experience curated by Executive Chef Eric Marple. With an impressive culinary background and a passion for exquisite flavors, Chef Eric has crafted a menu that combines global techniques, international influences, and the finest locally sourced ingredients.
Chef Eric's culinary journey began at the Tri-Tech Skills Center during his high school years, where his talent for the culinary arts first flourished. After honing his skills in various corporate restaurants and completing his culinary education in Portland, he embarked on a path of continuous growth and learning. Throughout his career, he worked alongside esteemed chefs, absorbing their knowledge and refining his own techniques. At the age of 25, Chef Eric earned his first Chef title, winning a local competition in the Tri-Cities. He spent the following two years immersing himself in the world of culinary craftsmanship, expanding his repertoire, and nurturing his culinary passion. In 2006, he ventured into entrepreneurship, opening his own family restaurant, before eventually making his mark in Spokane and joining the culinary team at the Spokane Club.

With eight years of experience at the 1910 Restaurant and Lounge, Chef Eric has risen through the ranks from a dedicated line cook to his current position as the Spokane Club's Executive Chef. Speaking about his passion for serving members, Chef Eric emphasizes the personal connection he shares. "I like being a personal chef for the members. You see a member you cook for every day, and you know exactly what they're going to get before they even order. I say it all the time, but knowing exactly how much salt they want on their eggs or how many berries they want in their fruit cup means a lot. A lot of people are creatures of habit, and I am too, and so getting that personal touch and being on that first-name basis, you just don't get that in a public restaurant."
Whether it's hosting a business meeting, unwinding with friends over drinks, or bringing the family by for dinner, the 1910 Restaurant and Lounge continues its legacy of excellence under the guidance of Chef Eric Marple.
