ABOUT SIE Southeast Industrial Equipment is a second-generation, family-owned operation. In 1994, with twenty years’ experience in the material handling equipment business and three years as president under his belt, CEO Steve Thorne purchased Southeast Industrial Equipment. After several successful years of growth, Steve turned the company over to his son and daughter Cory Thorne and BJ Ferrell, President and Vice President respectively in 2006. Under Cory’s leadership, SIE has continued to evolve as the premier supplier of quality equipment and products and superior services in the material handling and construction equipment industries.
