Sittande Svea / Seated Svea. TYP 3 / Type 3 1892 – 1905
Beskrivning, typ 3, 1892 – 1905 10-kronorssedeln trycktes på ett svagt blåvitt handtillverkat finpapper med ett vattenmärke som består av våglinjer och ett Mercuriushuvud sittandes i en oval nere till vänster. Som ytterligare säkerhetsdetaljer finns det röda säkerhetsfibrer till vänster baktill på sedeln. Det svarta gravyrtrycket på framsidan består av en ram uppbyggd av siffran 10 och texten ”SVERIGES RIKSBANK”. Ramen omgärdar sittande Svea med tillhörande sköld, lejon och ymnighetshorn, samt en oval uppe till vänster med en stor valörsiffra placerad i mitten. Det finns dessutom centralt placerat på sedeln en guilloche i färgerna blått och brunt. Över guillochen sträcker sig texten ”Sveriges Riksbank inlöser vid anfordran denna sedel å TIO KRONOR med guldmynt enligt lagen om rikets mynt af den 30 Maj 1873.”. Ett svagt brunt bakgrundstryck syns uppe till vänster bakom valörsiffran, samt nere till höger bakom sittande Svea. Dessutom finns det nere till höger bakom den svarta valörsiffran texten ”HINC ROBUR ET SECURITAS 1668”. Årtal, seriebokstav och nummer trycktes med röd färg och finns upprepade två gånger på framsidan. Två tryckta namnteckningar finns nedtill på framsidan och namnteckningskombinationen varierar med seriebokstaven. Trycket på baksidan är ett svart gravyrtryck med Gustav Vasas porträtt i mitten. Sedelns storlek är cirka 121x70 mm och konstnären bakom 10-kronorssedeln var Jacob Bagge. Sedeln kungjordes: 29 april 1892, enligt SFS 1892:22 10 kronor
Description, type 3, 1892 – 1905 The 10 kronor banknote was printed on a light blue handmade fine paper with a watermark consisting of wave lines and a Mercury head sitting in a circular frame in the left lower corner. As further security details there are red safety fibres to the left on the reverse. The black engraving on the obverse consists of a frame built of the digit 10 and the text “SVERIGES RIKSBANK”. The frame surrounds seated Svea with belonging shield, horn, lion and also a circular in the upper left corner with a big digit of denomination in the middle. Furthermore in the centrum of the obverse there is a guilloche of the colors blue and brown. Above the guilloche the text ”Sveriges Riksbank inlöser vid anfordran denna sedel å TIO KRONOR med guldmynt enligt lagen om rikets mynt af den 30 Maj 1873.” is written. A faint brown print is visible in the left upper corner behind the digit of denomination and in the right lower corner behind seated Svea. In the right lower corner behind the black digit of denomination aslo the text “HINC ROBUR ET SECURITAS 1668” is seen. Date, serial letter and number were printed in red color and are repeated twice on the obverse. Two printed signatures are located at the foot of the obverse and the combination of signatures varies with the serial letter. The print on the reverse is a black engraving with the portrait of Gustav Vasa in the middle. The size of the banknote is about 121x70 mm and the artist designing the 10 kronor banknote was Jacob Bagge. The banknote was announced in April 29, 1892, according to SFS 1892:22
