Ahmedabad, January 19, 2010: Anil Limited (AL), Flagship Company of food and bio-industrial focused ANIL Group, reported a net profit of Rs. 11.25 Crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, a 57.23 % increase over Rs. 7.15 Crore registered for the corresponding period of last fiscal. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) stands at Rs.14.02 Crore for the quarter, as against a profit of Rs.8.42 Crore in the corresponding period, with rise of 66.46%. Net sales rose to Rs 132.48 Crore, a 37.39 % increase from Rs. 96.42 Crore in the Q3 of previous fiscal. The Board of Directors has taken note of the sad demise of honourable Chairman Shri Shripal Sheth on December 26, 2010. Speaking on Q3 results, Mr. Amol Sheth, Managing Director of Anil Limited, said, “We are continuously working towards developing and introducing new value added products and application for various end user industries along with focussed approach in the areas of Cost Management and Quality. This has resulted us in achieving the growth in Revenues and Profits in the 3rd Quarter. We are on track to achieve the projected annual top line and bottom line.” Giving a broad outlook of company’s plan for the future, Mr. Amol Sheth, said, “Moving forward, there are excellent opportunities to grow the business in view of changes in the health, nutritional and functional needs of the changing consumer appetite.
