Do you ever wonder what kind of difference donor support can make in the life of a student? SIAST students tell you in their own words in this year’s Student Awards brochure. For many, a student award eases the financial strain of tuition and books. For others, especially those seeking to build a better future for their families, a student award helps make ends meet so they can focus on their studies. Every student listed here has benefited from donor support. Without that support, many of these talented, determined people would not have the opportunity to learn the skills and gain the knowledge they need to build a career. And that would be a loss for all of us. SIAST turns out more undergraduates than do either of Saskatchewan’s universities. Our programs serve every sector of the economy. We’re proud of our grads and the contributions they are making to communities all over the province. We’re equally proud to highlight the names of the generous donors who support our students. Their investment in SIAST students is an investment in our province’s future.
