Welcome to Lyndon, We feel the City of Lyndon has much to offer and we are glad you have chosen to live in our community. Our best asset is our residents and most of the work we do is geared towards improving the quality of life for all. We invite you to take advantage of our city parks. The largest of these is Robsion Park, a 17+ acre area with walking paths, picnic tables, benches, two pavilions and two playgrounds. The park is located behind the Lyndon Post Office. Our other park is at Romara Place, an historic site located on Wood Road. Now open, the 250-year-old home will house an education center, a small conference center, a children’s area and historical furniture donated by the family of Alvin Wood who is recognized as the founder of Lyndon. MSD has plans to build a rain garden demonstration site. We currently have a walking path along this natural area and picnic tables for those wishing to enjoy a meal on the grounds. Both of our parks are open daily from dawn to dusk. The Lyndon Area Fair continues to grow each year. This year it will be held on the second weekend in June at Robsion Park. The event offers excitement for the entire family. Rides, food vendors, craft booths, children’s activities, concerts and a fantastic Zambelli fireworks display are just part of the action you will find. Mark your calendar now for this wonderful free family activity. To begin the holiday season, “Light Up Lyndon” is held at City Hall each year. With the help of the Lyndon Area Business Association we offer free carriage rides, pictures with Santa, refreshments, face painting, and seasonal entertainment. Lyndon City Hall is open five days a week: Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. We welcome your visits and calls.
