Our StoryConsisting of Moorthy & Jacinta with Tushar, Pooranawalla is a Mumbai based atelier. Starting as dealers in Colonial furniture, we have recently expanded into mid century modern design, art deco and select vintage objects. We understand and emphasize the importance of design in all it’s forms, especially the sourcing of furniture and objects. Pooranawalla would like to increase the overall awareness of design as functional and not merely visual.
About our collection We have collaborated with several art and furniture curators in India to come up with this collections. It consists of furniture that were in very bad condition and has been restored for our customers. We have understood that our customers desire to acquire products which reminds them of pleasure and nostalgia that comes along with in each and every curve of the furniture available in our atelier. The atelier believes in bringing back the forgotten in reality.
