Dates for your diaries Thursday 12th December, 6pm, Indoor Riding for the Disabled School, Wallington Hall, South Runcton, King’s Lynn, PE33 0EP (A10 between King’s Lynn and Downham Market): MAGPIE CAROL SERVICE. Join us for carols, mince pies, mulled wine and meet some of our lovely ponies. The event will also feature Clackclose Primary School choir. Thursday December 19th, 2pm, St Martin at Shouldham School: CAROL SERVICE. Conducted by Rev Barbara Burton. All welcome.

Thursday 19th December, 7pm, All Saints’ Church, Shouldham: CAROL SERVICE AND CHRISTMAS TREES IN CHURCH. The traditional service of nine lessons and carols. The church will be candlelit for this, and the decorated trees add significantly to the atmosphere of the occasion. Light, seasonal refreshments will be served after the Carol Service, which is for all agegroups. Please let Ann Hullah (347814/annhullah@btinternet.com) know if you would like to provide a tree.

Friday December 20th, 6.30pm, St Mary’s Church, Shouldham Thorpe: CAROL SERVICE. Monday 23rd December, 7pm, Shouldham Village Green: CAROLS AROUND THE TREE. There will be a collection for a local charity if you wish to give.

Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24th December, 11.30pm, All Saints’ Church, Shouldham: MIDNIGHT MASS. New Year’s Eve, Tuesday 31st December, 8pm, Shouldham Bowls Club: NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER & DANCE.
