Henschke Keyneton Euphonium.

Previously known as Keyneton Estate is a wonderful Barossa tradition and greatly admired by collectors for its cellaring potential. The wine is primarily based on old vine shiraz (mostly over 50 years old at around 60%+), cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc form selected vineyards in the Eden and Barossa Valleys. Typically, the wine is matured for 18 months in new and seasoned French and American hogsheads.

This gift pack has been carefully selected by our panel of wine experts headed up

by Annette Lacey MW and myself. Together we have trawled through a massive back vintage and museum catalogue to select wines that offer customers who enjoy wine, a great drinking experience. We have drawn on our collective skills and knowledge to find vintages that offer something different and create a sense of anticipation.

The extra bottle aging has allowed the grainy tannins to soften and the flavours to develop beautiful secondary characters. This is a classic Barossa red wine of ripe dark berried fruits, dried herb notes and plush velvety textures. It also benefits from the reflected glory of Henschke Hill of Grace.

These bottles, already cellared for a while, are ready to drink now or keep in a cool place. But don’t wait for that special occasion that never arrives. Plan to share and drink soon.

Penfolds St Henri Shiraz Collector’s Trio “ Penfolds St Henri Shiraz is one of South Australia’s great wine traditions. Although its history goes back to the Auldana cellars and vineyard during the 1880s, it is more famous for being the foil to Max Schubert’s Grange Hermitage during the 1950s.
