Director’s Note

Dear Whitetail Club Members,

Fall is in the air and there isn’t a more perfect time to be here in McCall. The MTB trails seem to always be at their best in October. We’ve seen some recent precipitation which has helped transition the trails from a bit dusty and dirty to an optimal tacky and hardpack. On top of that, the golf course is recovering well from our recent aerification and with lots of sunshine in the forecast, now is the time to get out and enjoy these amenities.

A reminder that clubhouse restaurant will remain open 7 days a week through October 11th which at that point hours of operation will go to Thursday - Sunday, serving all meal periods. Don’t forget to make your reservations. As the nights get cooler you can plan on indoor dining becoming more appealing. We’ve also just added the NFL ticket. Plan to head to the club to watch your favorite team hit the gridiron. Jerseys are welcome.

We’ve welcomed a new concierge to the Whitetail Club team, please help me in welcoming Danielle Mathis to the family. Hailing from the Sunshine State, Danielle (along with her cat, Andy) have moved to Idaho to begin what I have no doubt will be an exciting new chapter for us all. As the summer season has come to an end, many members have taken it upon themselves to reach out to me with thoughts, ideas, reviews and constructive feedback. Thank you to all that have taken the time to do so. It is appreciated and we recognize that your feedback is pivotal to how we evolve and improve the Whitetail Club experience. On this same note of feedback, it has been requested that we implement a member survey. An opportunity for our members to express their thoughts, whether good, bad or indifferent, but be able to do so in an anonymous manner. A long answer short, we’re in. We will be utilizing a third party to facilitate the creation and the implementation of the survey. Stay tuned to your weekly and monthly club communications for updates on when you can expect to see this member survey in your inbox.

The end of season sale is in full swing at the Golf Shop. Plan to stop by before it’s too late to stock up on your Whitetail logo’d apparel. Our end of season fall classic is scheduled for October 10th. Make sure to sign up with Eugene and the team for our last tournament of the season. Plan on sticking around for our end of golf season member mixer. We’ll be hosting appetizers and a signature drink. A full bar will be available for member charge.

The membership and real estate offices continue to stay steady as we head into fall. This past month I’m incredibly excited that we welcomed three new families to Whitetail Club. Thank you to Doug & Kelli York, Jake & Michaela Centers & John & Melissa Michiels for opting to make Whitetail Club apart of your lives.
